Improvements include; 63 miles of
equestrian trails, new boat docks, 9 miles of mountain bike
trails, new bath and shower facilities at the marina,
utility upgrades in campground including 20 full hook up
sites.
Although the improvements listed above
were not implemented by The Friends of Salt Fork, we
have set ambitious goals to build on those improvements at
Salt Fork State Park, with the help of members and
future members.
Future improvements to the area will be implemented without
state funding through the generosity of those who take pride
in the largest state park in Ohio and donate to the Friends
of Salt Fork State Park, Inc. organization.
Future plans include a pavilion at swimmers/boaters beach,
beautification of beach area and pull-off areas around state
park. |
